Discuss diferent photo gallery and media gallery components within joomla including: photos video mp3 - audio

Every site I've had Expose installed on has been hacked through this component. Even when I applied the security patch for it.

PhocaGallery has a very good backend, but the frontend is unimpressive. But guess what? You can create your own frontend component for displaying what you configured in the back end!

In preparation for a presentation on photo galleries, let's get some feedback on what people want that they aren't getting with the current components available.

I have had issues with Expose as well. I have been using Ignite Gallery, the support has been excellent. The 2.0 version had an upload for zip files which is great. 2.1 removed that feature :(

It is a commercial component, but not expensive, and has lots of amazing features!
Would enjoy a good look at the different componets available including pro's and con's of each

I am a newbie, self taught and just this morning said there has got to be a Joomla users group.

A slide show is one of the things I'm working on so selfishly, I'd love to see how it is done!!!
